RULES

SCORES

Scores are determined by the simultaneous roll of two zero-faced die: red for the first (“home”) team, and black for the second (“away”) team. In the event of a tie, the simultaneous roll is re-staged, with the away team assuming the red die, and the home team the black die. This procedure continues, alternately, until a winner is determined.

DRAWS

Draw numbers are determined by FIFA rankings at the time of the draw, followed by the remaining nations/territories (“teams”) in alphabetical order. Byes, if required, will be awarded to the teams remaining once the initial section of the draw has been made.

STRUCTURE

The first round will comprise 102 matches, with 26 byes. The remaining 128 teams will contest the second round in a straight knockout format, proceeding to the final.

FINAL

A draw will be made to determine the respective home and away teams for the final. The first team drawn will assume home status.

SCHEDULE

The tournament will proceed at the rate of one match per day. No matches will take place on draw days. Further intermissions may be scheduled.
